Hot Stocks for Cold Economy
Stocks which can do well during recession
In a bear market where we have an extended recession, home prices falling, and government debt on the rise it is very easy to get depressed and stop making any kind of investments at all. But just the way uber investor Warren Buffett says, invest when everyone else is scared, you can actually find stocks which may do well in a bad economy. For example, in a bad economy people are more eager to rent than buying furniture or electroncis. Rent-A-Center (RNT) is such a commpany. Similarly stocks which sell cheap consumer goodssuch as Dollar Tree (DLTR) and Family Dollar Stores (FDO) can be investment options as well. During the time when job market is really bad, it is very easy to think that pay day lenders such as EZ Cash (EZPW) or Cash America (CSH) may be good best. But the problem is that in order to take pay day loans, people need to have jobs which they don't. Their pawn shop businesses may do well but that is up for debate where people suffering from cash crunch may not even own anything anymore. These stocks may be a good bet once the economy start recovering again.
